2024 GCPW Cheerleading



Registration Fee:   $ 205  March 15 - July 15

Late Registrations:
$ 225 July 16 - July 31
$ 250 August 1 - August 15
$ 275 August 16 - August 31

A payment plan is available.  The first payment is due upon registration, additional payments are due the 15th of each month, and the last payment is due Friday, June 14. There is a $3 service charge on each payment. There is a $25 fee on any bounced/declined payment. If payments are not completed and any declined items and fees resolved by June 30, the child will be removed from the program.  

No child will be rostered or issued equipment whose registration has not been paid in full.

Refund policy:
Before May 1: registration fee paid minus $25 admin fee
May 1-June 30: one half of the registration fee paid
July 1 and beyond: no refunds

The following documents are required:

     * A copy of each child's birth certificate
     * A copy of each child's FINAL 2023-2024 report card (showing all 4 quarters) 

You may upload a clear image of each document during the registration process, but please keep hard copies available to be provided upon request. In particular, be sure to print the report card from Power School (if needed) before it gets shut down for the summer (many school districts).

The registration questions have changed.  We no longer require a physical form or a doctor's signature. Medical questions, including insurance policy information, date of last tetanus booster, concussion info and more are included in the registration questions. These must be answered properly for your child to participate. 

Requests related to team placement (with a particular coach, with siblings or friends) may be made at the time of registration. We will attempt to honor requests where possible, but we cannot guarantee they will be granted.  The order of registration will be the deciding factor in cases where there are more requests than available spots on a team. If there are multiple teams within a division, those teams will be rostered to have as close to equal numbers of players as possible.

Practices

Practices start August 1, and are held at 550 Thompson Rd Garner NC 27529

* 6pm-8:30pm Monday through Thursday for the month of August.
* 6pm-8pm Monday through Thursday at the discretion of the coach thereafter, with games on Saturdays.

Games

Home games are played at Garner High School. Go Trojans! We usually get the schedule from the league about a week before the first game. The schedule is subject to change based on weather, field conditions, and field availability, so please be flexible and patient.

Signing up does not guarantee selection for the position. All volunteers must pass a mandatory background check, and all coaches must attend mandatory annual training.
